REKO-ring is a farmers market in Sweden, where you pre-order the products directly from the farmers and pick up the produce at a set time. At the moment the farmers are announcing their sale through a Facebook group. The process requires a lot of administration work for the farmers and makes it difficult for them to reach out to the shoppers due to restrictions of the Facebook application.
In order to simplify the shopping experience we have created a mobile application. The application makes it possible for shoppers to browse the different products and learn more about the farmers. It has an in-app purchase and payment systems.
The school project is a collaboration with Alexandra Jansson.
